Miami tops Virginia

On Tuesday night Miami helped their position in the ACC standings by beating Virginia 74-62. The win brings them off the bottom of the conference standings.
It also brings up the question of the winner of the conference tournament.
So with how weak the ACC is this year is the conference tournament champion going to be Duke, or can a team like Miami or Virginia come from the bottom and win the conference?

Injuries keep key players out

North Carolina didn't only lose their game to Duke Wednesday night, they also lost their start player. To go along with two other big players Ed Davis will now be out for six weeks with a broken wrist. Duke also lost one of its main players in this game. Senior Lance Thomas is listed as doubtful for the Blue Devils upcoming game against Maryland. Thomas will be recovering from a bruised knee.

What do you think North Carolina's chances are to turn there season around now that Davis is done for what looks to be the rest of the season? And will Duke be able to stop Maryland inside without one of their top defenders, in Thomas?

Not one dominate ACC team

With the NCAA basketball season in conference play there has yet to be one team from the ACC to show that it is the top power from that conference. Duke and Florida State kept their rankings at one and two respectively from last week, but after these two the rest is one big jumble. Take a look at this link that ranks each team this week: ACC Rankings. Comment about where you think each of these teams will end up, not only in the ACC, but in the NCAA tournament, this season.
